Outpost Solar designs and manufactures innovative solar energy systems. Our creative solutions for solar energy implementation range from 5kW off-grid systems designed for the most remote areas of the world, to grid-tied systems that generate a megawatt or more. Outpost Solar provides its clients with the necessary expertise to assess their needs and maximize the return on their investment. Our professionals provide complete project management services: design build, installation, financing, and tax incentive optimization.


A Joint Venture between Richland, LLC and BNLTech

BNL Technical Services, LLC is a contract engineering and technical consulting services firm incorporated and headquartered in the State of Washington. Established in 1999, BNL Tech has a well-established record of successfully meeting the needs of our clients. Our management staff has over 90 years of working within and supporting complex engineering and consulting projects.

Richland, LLC is an industrial based service company which originally started as a steel sales and warehouse business supplying local industry with their steel needs. In addition to the original steel products, the company now offers custom fabrication, industrial services, industrial doors, drying and space heating systems, sandblasting and painting, and machining services.


Executive Management

Jim Greene, CEO of Outpost SolarJim Greene, CEO

With more than 10 years experience in engineering, steel manufacturing and construction. James I. Greene, Jr. obtained his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. While there he worked for a joint venture between the University, NASA, and Boeing, the project entailed design, construction, test and launch of a communication satellite. Later he moved to Nashville where he worked for two large engineering firms and successfully passed the Professional Engineering Exam. In August 2004 he received his MBA degree from Belmont, the Jack C. Massey School of Business. He has since returned to Pulaski to become President of Richland, LLC and is heading the GoGaS by Richland, LLC division which specializes in thermal technologies.

Wilson Stevenson, President, Outpost SolarWilson P. Stevenson III, President

Wilson Stevenson attended Vanderbilt University prior to enlisting in the United States Marine Corps in January 2001. During his term of active duty, he served as a Reconnaissance Marine and Chinese/Spanish Cryptologic Linguist in support of the Global War on Terrorism. Upon receiving an honorable discharge in June 2006, Wilson attended the University of Washington where he graduated magna cum laude with a B. A. in International Studies and a Certificate in Accounting. Wilson focuses on ensuring that Outpost Solar provides its clients with the highest quality service at highly competitive prices.


 

 

Seth Kirchbaum, CTOSeth Kirchbaum, CTO

Seth Kirchbaum was born and raised in Upstate New York. After graduating high school with honors in Math and Science, he attended the University at Stony Brook. He completed a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology with a focus on Biology and Chemistry in 1999. After working for a couple of years, Seth joined the US Army in September of 2001 -- just before the World Trade Center incident.

In the Army, Seth specialized in intelligence gathering as a Chinese Linguist. His knowledge of various technical systems, as well as a general curiosity and aptitude for learning new applications for emerging technologies earned him praise from both his superiors and his peers.

After separating from the Army, Seth worked in technical support for one of the country’s most respected consumer electronics distributors before finding an interest in renewable energy technologies. He attended the Solar Energy International Grid-Direct Photovoltaic Design and Installation Course as well as the Advanced Photovoltaics Design and Installation Course. Seth came to work for Outpost Solar because of a shared interest in solving the United States’ remote power generation difficulties in forward deployed areas. He is also motivated to improve the country’s overall power generation and to decrease the nation’s need for foreign fuels.


Stephen Rush, Business DevelopmentStephen Rush, Business Development

Stephen was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. He attended the University of Tennessee (Knoxville) where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Psychology with a focus on Small Business Accounting and Sociology.

After graduation Stephen accepted a marketing position with a resort services firm in Park City, UT. His willingness to learn, outgoing personality, hard work ethic, and ability to think outside the box, earned him praise from both his superiors and peers. After four and half years of forward progress and hard work, Stephen relocated to San Francisco, working as the Director of Operations for a software development company.

In early 2009 Stephen returned to the Southeast as the head of Business Development for Outpost Solar, LLC. In his current capacity he is able to fulfill his personal and professional goals by furthering the implementation of renewable energy systems. Stephen has long believed that alternative energy is essential not only for environmental reasons, but also to ensure America’s national security interest.


Pedro A. Wasserman, International Operations DirectorPedro A. Wasserman, International Operations Director

Pedro Wasserman was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised internationally. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in July 1999 and went on to serve in active-duty and reserve roles throughout the United States and Europe. Pedro has recently completed a Master of Arts degree in International Relations (Peace & Security Studies) at the Institut Barcelona D'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI) in Barcelona, Spain. He holds a B. A. in Russian Language and Literature from the State University of New York-Excelsior College, Albany, New York (2005) and an A. A. in Russian Language and Culture from the Defense Language Institute, Foreign Language Center, Monterey, California (2003).

Pedro joins the team at Outpost Solar as the new International Operations Director and the Overseas Program Manager. He has extensive overseas experience from his time in the service and his experiences as a Consultant for the U.S. Defense Department while contracted by Science Applications International Corporation (2005-2009). Pedro 's unique international background and his desire to contribute to renewable energy innovation make him an integral part of the Outpost Solar team. He looks forward to building an international clientele for the Outpost Solar product line and promoting alternative energy solutions world-wide.
